The Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival takes place across Limerick City and County from Monday 8th to Sunday 14th April and marks its 9th anniversary this year. The theme for 2019 is ‘Bridging the Gap’ in learning (between young and old, rural and urban, returning to learning and welcoming new communities). This theme builds on the tagline for the week-long festival ‘Communities, Connecting, Learning’. The excitement of learning will be promoted through a multitude of varied events including: performances, tours, displays, lectures, walks, demonstrations and workshops. With 200 free events in this year’s programme, there is certainly something for everyone to choose from; with a diversity of activities that includes dance, art, health and science, business and developing career options.
